FACTS: F7uids Version II is a twofold piece consisting of a video piece as well as an extravagant dress used as a blank canvas.
PLACE: Museum am Bach, Ruden (AT)
YEAR: 2016

F7UIDS Version II was created as a second iteration of the original F7UIDS (2015), for Museum Am Bach, a contemporary art museum used for research of social systems in Ruden, Austria. The performance took place at the season opening of the museum on the 23d of April, under the title Schöne operation/ Designing beauty. The artists placed an extravagant 6 meters wide, white dress inside an abandoned bakery, this time in a raw and unfiltered setting, bringing the bright daylight through the windows, lighting up the white dress. The artists placed themselves in the scenary, one in the white dress, the other in complete black. In a sadomasochistic relationship the artists examined the history and taboos of body f7uids, now giving a totally new audience the opportunity to join in. In contrast to previous performance of F7UIDS the audience was not surveilled by cameras, but rather by each other, experiencing the performance for a shorter period of time, in a raw and unfiltered setting, as opposed to the blackness of the theater from the previous performance, thus being unable to hide from their peers. Meanwhile a video showing the artists exploring different f7uids was showing at a nearby bathroom, giving some thought towards bodily f7uids.
